Looking for a counsellor in Hayes? You have two easy options: in-person sessions at my practice in nearby Uxbridge, or secure online sessions you can join from anywhere in Hayes, Botwell or Yeading. Person-centred counselling for Hayes

Person-centred counselling starts from a quiet but powerful idea: that you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to label you or apply a fixed formula, but to offer a warm, confidential space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and be met without judgement. Hayes is a place that has seen huge change, the Old Vinyl Factory regeneration around Botwell, new homes, the Elizabeth line, and amid all that movement, having one calm, dependable hour each week can help you find your footing again.

What people bring to counselling

  • Anxiety, stress and low mood, feeling on edge, stretched thin, or just not yourself for a while now.
  • Relationship and couple difficulties, as a Couple Counselling Practitioner I see partners together as well as one-to-one.
  • Grief and bereavement, a loss that still feels raw, or an old one that has quietly returned.
  • Work, change and feeling stuck, burnout, a hard transition, or a choice you can’t seem to settle.

Getting to sessions from Hayes

Hayes sits a little further out than some of the borough, so it’s worth knowing your options. By road the practice is around 20 minutes away, straight along the A4020 Uxbridge Road; the 90, 195, 207 and U4 buses cross the area, and Hayes & Harlington station now sits on the Elizabeth line. If a weekly trip across town doesn’t fit easily around work or family, online counselling is often the more realistic choice, equally confidential, joined from your own front room, and just as personal. Either way, Barra Hall Park and the green spaces around Botwell are a good spot to clear your head before or after a session.

Sessions, fees and your free first call

Individual sessions last 50 minutes (£70) and couples sessions 60 minutes (£95), usually weekly or fortnightly to begin with, for as long, or as short, a time as feels right for you. Nothing is decided on the spot: we start with a free, no-obligation 20-minute telephone consultation, so you can ask questions and get a sense of how I work before booking anything.

Whatever you’re facing, there’s a way in

You’re welcome to explore the areas I work with most often: relationship and couples counselling, anxiety, stress and self-esteem, grief and bereavement, and work and career wellbeing. I also offer specialist, trauma-informed support for survivors of domestic abuse. Close to Hayes, I also see people from neighbouring West Drayton and Hillingdon.
